Necron Nephusir Dynasty

Commission Project

The Nephusir Dynasty Necrons are an ongoing commission project spanning an entire army, featuring a diverse range of characters, infantry, vehicles, and monsters.

Characterised by their striking white masks and a soft blue energy glow - with varied colour motifs across different units while preserving a cohesive, robotic aesthetic.

The Anatu system once belonged to the Nephusir family a millennia ago - and they’re determined to reclaim it. Though the Nephusir Dynasty’s nobility shares a single bloodline, internal rivalries run deep.

The Dynasty (re)Assembles

This project has been worked on in several phases - shipped to the client when each phase is completed.

Overlord R’tokh

The first Necron character from the project, and (ostensibly) the current ruler of the Nephusir Dynasty.

Lokhust Lord R’hakt

Converted using the top half of an Overlord with Tachyon Arrow, and the bottom half of a Lokhust Heavy Destroyer. The client requested red eyes to signify it’s fall to the Destroyer Cult.

Skorpekh Lord R’drekh

Skorpekh Lord from the Royal Court sprue. The red eyes signify it’s fall to the Destroyer Cult.

Catacomb Command Barge

The model was painted in 5 subassemblies.

Chronomancer R’kepta

A thoroughly fun model to paint. The client requested purple cubes and eyes.

Plasmancer R’atatokh

A very rudely pointing model from the Royal Court kit. His eyes are red to denote his fall to the Destroyer Cult.

Cryptek R’anokh

My favourite Necron model, and maybe one of my favourite models of all time.

Triarch Stalker

Built in 3 parts - the cockpit and pilot, legs, and gun.

Canoptek Reanimator

Another of my favourites - I loved using it in the background of photos for it’s lovely silhouette.

Canoptek Spyder

A very cute large spider with a friendly little face.

Skorpekh Destroyers

Very dynamic models - enjoyable to work on.

Lokhust Heavy Destroyers

A squad of 3 Lokhust Heavy Destroyers ready to punch a hole straight through a Land Raider.

Canoptek Wraiths

12 Canoptek Wraiths which I unwisely decided to paint in one batch job. I’m very happy with how they turned out - but it cost me a lot of brain cells and I won’t paint that many large models in a batch that large again.

Tomb Blades

A mix between podracers and Mr Garrison’s “IT” device - lots of fun.

Lychguard with Warscythes

The legs of the leader are from the Overlord I used the top half of for the Lokhust Lord.

Lychguard with Dispersion Shields

10 Lychguard. Really enjoyable to pose - required some greenstuff in the shoulder joints to get the right angles on the arms.

Immortals

10 Immortals ready to give some infantry a bad day.

Deathmarks

After watching the Warhamer+ animation which featured a solo Deathmark these guys became a lot cooler. I enjoyed painting the orb sights on the rifles.

Flayed Ones

Incredibly creepy models with a great opportunity for GORE. I’d love to do another squad of these one day.

Cryptothralls

Two certified cuties - loved painting these.

Plasmacyte

Another certified cutie - had lots of fun painting his big orbs.

Necron Warriors

10 Necron Warriors - the bread and butter of any Dynasty. Huge improvement over their old models and very enjoyable to work on.

Scarabs

Surprisingly intricate to paint (lots of little orbs) - but very cute.
