Legion of the Damned

Commission Project

It was an absolute privilege to work on this commission project - I shudder to think of the cost of these models, and to know I was trusted with doing them justice meant a lot.

Each of these guys were hand-crafted in the 90s and are oozing with character. The Dreadnaught was painstakingly converted by the client.

Decked out in skulls and wreathed in flames - this Legion of the Damned Killteam makes a striking presence on the tabletop.

The Damned Rise Again

The full commission, essentially a Killteam with an added vehicle.

Veteran-Sergeant Attica Centurius

A model that prior to seeing it in person I didn’t know existed - and is now one of my favourites ever. I loved painting the face. The flame was a real challenge, but I’m very happy with how it turned out.

Legion of the Damned Sergeants

Two absolutely fantastic models brimming with character - I’d love an upgrade sprue including bits like these one day.

Legion of the Damned Battle Brothers

I have nothing but great things to say about these models. They’re very old but it just makes them feel more physical to me - like you’re working directly with the sculptor while you’re painting them.

Legion of the Damned Dreadnaught

An absolutely incredible conversion done by the client - using a Death Company Dreadnaught, greenstuff flames, and lots of skulls. A joy to paint from start to finish.
