Eldar
The Eldar are one of my favourite factions - and I spent a lot of time trying to settle on a colour scheme I liked for them.
The scheme that resonated with me the most was Saim-Hann, though if I were to do more Eldar in future I’d love to create my own Craftworld.
Autarch Wayleaper
The specific model that got me interested in starting an Eldar project.
Farseer
I’m very pleased with how the lenses came out, as well as the large forehead gem.
Amallyn Shadowguide
An Eldar Scout pinup model from Blackstone Fortress. I never liked the pose - which is a shame because the design of the model itself is fantastic, as well as all the official art of her.
Legion of the Damned Battle Brothers
A collection of Guardian Defenders and Storm Guardians that I did to continue testing the scheme. I think each of these was painted in a slightly different recipe (which has since been lost to time).
Guardian Test Models
A couple of the old Easy-to-build Eldar Guardians used for testing schemes on.
Newer Guardian test models
Some more scheme tests, but on the new Guardian kit. I was especially happy with the face of the green Guardian.
Corsair Voidscarred
I bought the killteam kit but this is the only model I ever painted. I was incredibly satisfied with how he turned out - but didn’t feel any drive to do another.
Saim-Hann Wraiths
A collection of models I painted when the Contrast line of Citadel paints came out - as I wanted to test how they fared on Wraithbone while using as little effort as possible. The main issue I had painting these was that fixing mistakes - particularly on the white, was very challenging. I used some greenstuff to angle the Sword of the Wraithlord further down.
